Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series driven at Paul Ricard Circuit

SLS AMG GT Black Series, is the best SLS yet.

It is the fifth Black Series model yet to erupt from Affalterbach, among with C 63 AMG Coupé Black, SL65 AMG etc.

It’s not at all the one we’d tap for a street drive or a road trip. In the imaginary fleet we maintain in the garages of our mind, that’s exactly as it should be, since the SLS AMG GT Black Series could be the best track machine Mercedes has ever built.

Essentially a GT3 racer for the road, the SLS Black Series mates up perfectly with southern France’s Circuit Paul Ricard, a fast track with two huge, open right-handers that offer textbook instruction on throttle modulation at the limits of traction.
